Los Altos, California -- Internet technology company Electric Imp has landed $21 million in early-stage investment.
Electric Imp is developing an Internet of Things (IoT) service that "makes it simple to connect devices to the Internet." Rampart Capital led the round, which also included previous investor Redpoint Ventures and other undisclosed investors. The company said it would use the funding to "accelerate the continued rapid growth, development and global adoption" of its service. Electric Imp has raised a total of $43 million in financing to date.
