San Francisco, California -- Water system software company WaterSmart Software has secured $3 million in equity venture capital financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
WaterSmart has developed software that enables water utilities to better communicate with consumers how much water their household is using. Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds. A total of four investors participate in the offering. The company was founded in August 2014 by Peter Yolles.
