Santa Monica, California -- Internet technology company Tradesy has raised $30 million in growth stage venture capital financing.
Tradesy operates a fashion recommerce site that enables customers to save up to 70% on brand-name items. Wildcat Capital Management and others made the investment. Tradesy said it would use the funding to hire data scientists and taxonomists to analyze shopping data to see how fashion brands might be able to use it. The company said it would also use funding to run more national cable TV advertising campaigns.
