Houston, Texas -- Geologic software technology company Ingrain has secured $3 million in new equity venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
Ingrain has developed software that provides information about the "porosity, permeability, resistivity and elastic properties of rock samples."
Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
A total of 19 investors participated the offering.
CEO Marcus Ganz has been with the firm since January 2010.
