Malvern, Pennsylvania -- Specialty pharmaceutical company Scilex Pharmaceuticals has secured $480,000 in new equity venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
Scilex is developing pharmaceutical products for the treatment of pain. Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds. A total of nine investors participated in the offering. CEO Anthony Mack has been with the firm since 2012.
