Buffalo, New York -- Biotechnology company Empire Genomics has landed $1.75 million in new equity venture capital investment.
Empire says that its mission is to "improve individual patient care through the integration of innovative molecular diagnostic technology." BroadOak Capital Partners, Rand Capital and others invested in the financing. The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used. CEO Anthony Johnson co-founded the firm in March 2006.
