Redmond, Washington -- Alternative resources technology company WISErg has raised $16.44 million in new equity venture capital, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
WISErg is "reinventing traditional food waste management by harvesting the nutrients from today's food scraps to create organic fertilizer that grows tomorrow's food." Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds. A total of 17 investors participated in the offering CEO Larry LeSueur co-founded the firm in 2009.
