
Los Angeles, California -- Drone service technology company DroneBase has garnered $6.8 million in new equity venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
DroneBase provides drone services for aerial imagery, video, data and mapping use cases.
Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
A total of 12 investors participated in the offering.
The company says that its investor base includes DJI, a large China-based manufacturer of drones.
DroneBase is still seeking $474,000 in additional investment, according to the filing.
