
Encinitas, California -- Healthcare software technology company AristaMD has received $4.6 million in new equity venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
AristaMD has developed software and what it calls "eConsult solutions for better specialty referral decisions, reduced cost of care and improved patient outcomes."
Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
A total of two investors participated in the offering.
The total amount received included amounts paid pursuant to conversion of indebtedness.
AristaMD is still seeking $2.4 million in additional equity investment, according to the filing.
CEO Rebecca Cofinas founded the firm in July 2014.
