Madison, Wisconsin -- Advanced materials company Silatronix has raised $4 million in new equity venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
Silatronix says that it is "commercializing a new class of patented materials based on organosilicon (OS) compounds for use in energy storage devices." The company is focused on using electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries. Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds. A total of 17 investors participated in the offering. Company CEO is Mark Zager, who was previously CEO at Alfalight.
