Palo Alto, California -- Mobile connectivity provider Gigsky has received $2.9 million in new equity venture capital investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
Gigsky has developed a mobile SIM and app to enable users to have global data connectivity virtually anywhere in the world. Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds. A total of three investors participated in the offering. CEO Ravi Rishy-Maharaj founded the company in June 2010.
