
New York, New York -- Policing software maker Mark43 has raised $27 million in new equity venture capital, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
Mark43 has developed Cobalt, it's cloud-based record management system and analysis tool.
The system promises to make it easier and faster for police officers to file incident an arrest reports, increasing productivity and analytical capabilities for police departments.
Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds..
A total of 19 investors participated in the offering.
CEO Scott Crouch co-founded the company in April 2012.
