Washington, DC -- Education technology company Planet3 has raised $1 million in new equity venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
Planet3 is developing a "digital platform with a compelling game-based narrative that utilizes real-world data and next-generation science standards."
The system promises to deliver better learning outcomes through its exploration-based learning processes focused on the STEAM subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.
One investor made the investment.
Planet3 is still seeking $2 million in additional equity investment, according to the filing.
