Chicago, Illinois -- Hygiene technology company SwipeSense has garnered $4 million in new equity venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.
SwipeSense has created a "complete system that combines point of care hand hygiene dispensers with real-time data from existing dispensers." The company's system aims to "empower healthcare professionals to prevent the spread of pathogens." Investors were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds. A total of five investors participated in the offering.
