DraftKings Nets $3 Million Venture Capital Equity

   Boston, Massachusetts  --  Internet company DraftKings has received $2.9 million in new venture capital equity investment.

DraftKings operates a fantasy sports contest website where users compete for cash and prizes.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed.

DraftKings is still seeking $945,000 in additional financing, according to the regulatory filing.
